Xantrex Freedom
RV Inverters
With
filtered modified sine wave output, the Freedom 458 series
inverter/chargers run virtually anything, from office equipment to
household appliances and electronics. Temperature controlled multistage charging
ensures that your batteries are recharged quickly, and automatic shutdown and
other safety features protect your expensive deep-cycle batteries from excessive
depletion.
For
inverter/charger control and basic system monitoring, use the Freedom
Basic Remote. For advanced battery monitoring and remote control, Freedom 458
systems can be paired with optional Link instrumentation such as the Link 1000
or the Link 2000.

XANTREX FREEDOM Inverter/charger The
Freedom 458 10-12 produces 1000 watts of continuous 25 Amp
surge AC household power from 12-volt DC power. When supplied
with electricity from your RV's generator or campground hookup,
Freedom 458 10-12 charges your batteries quickly and accurately
with up to 50 amps of charge current. Freedom 458 10-12 is ideal
for powering small microwaves, TVs, VCRs, radios, stereos, hot
rollers and curling irons, office equipment, vacuum cleaners,
incandescent lights, and a variety of power tools. The inverter
/ charger provides automatic transfer switching between inverter
power and incoming AC power. Freedom 458 10-12's battery-charger
provides automatic, 3-stage charging, manual battery equalization
and temperature sensitive charging for optimal care of your batteries.

The Link 1000 is an instrumentation and control panel designed for use with
Freedom 458 and Marine Combi series inverter/chargers operated with a single
battery bank. With the Link 1000, you have a single battery bank monitoring
system that reads like a fuel gauge for your batteries – displaying battery
state-of charge at a glance. With the touch of a keypad, you can
independently control inverter and charger functions. Product
Features Digital numeric display automatically compensates for
ambient conditions and selectively shows: DC volts and amps, battery amp
hours consumed, time remaining to full discharge, fault conditions.
Multi-colored LED displays: approximate battery state of charge, AC input.
Push button control of power sharing, equalizing, battery set-up,
independent inverter and charger on/off controls. Second sense lead for
