Finally a grid intertie
inverter that won't leave you in the dark during a power failure !

Introducing Outback's new GTFX and GVFX grid intertie
inverters with back up power capability. Hundreds of customers who have
purchased solar electric systems in the past few years for the purpose of
selling power back to the utility company will be in for a rude awakening the
next time the power fails.
The most popular grid intertie inverters that are
available on today's market are all designed to shut down in the event of a
power failure. Seems ironic to spend thousands even tens of thousands of dollars
on a solar electric system for the purpose of generating your own electricity
only to have your lights go out just like everyone else's during a power
failure.
That's not the case with Outback's new grid intertie
battery backed up inverters ! When the utility power fails, Outback's specially
designed high efficiency inverters automatically stops feeding power to the
utility grid for safety and re-directs the solar array's power to your home or
office. You'll literally be the only one on the block with power.
When the utility power returns, Outback's inverter
reconnects the utility power to your home and begins recharging the battery in
preparation for the next power failure. Once the batteries are recharged, power
is then fed back through the grid causing your meter to slow down or spin
backwards, thus reducing or eliminating your electric bill.
